Compliance Coordinator (ISO / SOX)
 
The preferred candidate will have:
  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a safe working environment,
  • A post-secondary education in a technical / business related discipline.
  • 5+ year’s previous experience with ISO 18001, 9001, and 14001 Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management systems.
  • Previous auditing experience to ISO and SOX standards in a manufacturing environment - preferably in the Heavy Construction or Mining Equipment Industry,
  • Experience reviewing Tender documents, Sales Agreements, and Contracts for technical and commercial conformance, and maintaining exceptions and clarification documentation.
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team environment, and with a network of Dealers, Customers and Vendors,
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software in a Network Environment,
  • Familiarity with an organization serving International customers is an asset,
  • Strong attention to detail.
 
The position responsibilities include:
  • Promote a safe work environment,
  • Maintain the system that supports ISO / SOX,
  • Advise the Company Leadership Team on ISO and SOX requirements,
  • Assume Lead Auditor responsibilities for ISO and SOX systems,
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities in order to align business practices / procedures with ISO and SOX requirements,
  • Review of RFP and Tender documents for conformance to company standard terms & conditions,
  • Prepare and maintain exception and clarification documentation,
  • Review proposal documents for accuracy and continuity,
  • Maintain the company Proposal and Quotation database and periodically report on same,

Saw Operator (NC Saw)

Saw Operator (NC Saw)
 
The position responsibilities include:
  • Performs tasks in the safest manner possible.
  • Receives steel bar stock from steel suppliers and enters quantities into the computer system in order to keep inventory accurate.
  • Interprets engineering drawings to select the appropriate bar stock for cutting,
  • Sets up the saw to cut bar stock to the appropriate length.
  • Relieves bar stock inventory in the computer system to ensure the inventory is accurate,
  • Performs cycle count checks to maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Identifies “billets” with part numbers to ensure they routed to the appropriate machining operation.
  • Delivers billets to the appropriate machine for machining.
  • Use a variety of measuring devices such as verniers, micrometers, tape measure, etc. to ensure parts are within acceptable tolerance as determined by the engineering drawings.
  • Operate the conventional band saw from time to time to cut bar stock.
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance on the machine from time to time.
  • Interprets drawings and part numbers in order to identify parts.
  • Works within expected company standards relative to safety, quality / ISO and environmental matters.

Spray Painter / Prepper
 
The following are the duties and responsibilities of the Spray Painter / Prepper:
  • Performs all tasks in the safest manner possible,
  • Determines the appropriate paint product for the application,
  • Prepares the paint product in the paint kitchen to the proper formulation,
  • Determines whether paint will be transferred to the booth through overhead lines or pressure pot.
  • Prepares the booth for painting which includes performing basic preventive maintenance, connecting the paint gun, running the exhaust fans and reviewing safety equipment,
  • Ensures the supplied air respirator is operating effectively,
  • Moves parts into spray booth using material handling equipment such as a crane or forklift.
  • Spray paint product to the appropriate thickness to achieve proper finish.
  • Ensure that all associated equipment is kept clean and serviceable,
  • Prepares parts for painting operating a shot blast system.
  • Properly follows and uses all safety equipment and reports any non-working safety devices.
  • Interprets drawings and part numbers in order to identify parts.
  • Meets or exceeds the production standards for volume and quality of work
  • Works within expected company standards relative to safety, quality / ISO and environmental matters.

MACHINIST

 

The position responsibilities include:

  • Assessing the workspace and work required to ensure the work is performed in the safest manner possible,
  • Operate a wide variety of machines including conventional machines, CNC lathes and mills, boring mill, finish grinder, drills and saws without supervision
  • Set up machines in order to machine parts to engineering specifications
  • Use a variety of measuring devices such as verniers and micrometers to ensure the part is within acceptable tolerance as determined by the engineering drawing,
  • Work from a basic program on CNC machines and make the necessary edits to conform to drawing specifications,
  • Assist manufacturing engineering with parts programming for machining centres.
  • Perform other manual machining operations such as tapping, grinding and honing in order to machine the part to acceptable standards.

Factory Service Representative - Canada

FACTORY SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
 
The preferred candidate will have:
 
•    A post-secondary education or trade certificate in a mechanical or electrical related discipline
•    Previous experience with customized industrial installations of heavy equipment,
•    Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment and Microsoft Office products 
•    A valid driver’s license,
•    Be eligible to travel outside of Canada as frequent international travel is required.
 
The position responsibilities include:
 
•    Traveling to customer locations in Canada and internationally to coordinate the installation or repair of stationary boom systems, 
•    Commission and/or repair underground mobile equipment, 
•    Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems,
